Scott Evans is a Licensed Professional
Counselor (LPC) and a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS) who
received his Master’s in Christian Counseling at Gordon-Conwell
Theological Seminary. He offers a wide range of programs and services
from individual and group therapy to marriage and family therapy. His
diverse background includes two u ndergraduate
degrees from UNC at Wilmington: BA in Film Studies and BS in Business
Administration; and in addition, two years of filmmaking at the North
Carolina School of the Arts. He has experience counseling adolescents,
college students, and adults. He counsels clients with a wide range of
life issues, such as depression, grieving, anxiety, identity/self-worth
concerns, and addictions. The approach he takes with clients is coming
alongside them in their struggles as a compassionate and empowering therapist
who tailors therapy to the individual client's personality and personal
resources. He provides a holistic style that includes teaching how to
direct the mind, strengthen the body, & develop spiritual formation.
He believes therapy has the power to heal, to transform, and to bring
a new, improved awareness to one's journey.".
